About Amy
I have always been an animal lover. I had a Springer Spaniel for 16 years and multiple cats growing up. I lived in the country side on a farm so I am comfortable around all animals.
I unfortunately haven't been able to get a pet in my adult life as I live in a house share but I am very grateful that I get to regularly walk and take care of dogs belonging to my friends and family members.
I have lots of experience in house-sitting/dog-sitting and I feel comfortable and confident taking care of any breed of dog, of any age.
I really enjoy spending time with animals and since I started working from home I have spent periods of time working from other people's homes helping to take care of their dogs and walking them before work, during my lunch break and after work.
I love walking and getting outside and having a dog to bring with me is just an added bonus.
I am unfortunately not in a position to take animals into my home as I live in a house share but I am happy come to your home.
I have a car and I am happy to travel to other homes to house-sit/dog-sit. Please reach out if you have any questions at all! 😊

Amy exceeds all review scores I can write or score here. She is so wonderful and kind with our three girls (mini dachshunds) and they consider it a holiday when Amy comes to stay. Amy was able to help us at short notice and is a pleasure to deal with. All communication turnaround is quick and lovely. Amy always sends me updates on the girls making our separation easier to deal with. She baths them, walks them and provides any necessary medication. I cannot recommend Amy enough to anyone with pets looking for a home from home carer.
I'd highly recommend Amy. We have a nervous dog that can be a little unsure around strangers, but Amy was really good with her, making sure she was at ease the whole time. Communication was really good as well. Definitely recommend.
