I have always wanted to be a vet. Life has taken a different direction, but the love of animals still runs deep in me. The fact that I grew up spending holidays in my father's farm also gave plenty of experience with all sorts of animals.

My partner was also raised in a farm environment and is a dog lover.

He has become known as a "dog whisperer", owing to his ability to quickly win over rescue dogs fearful of men.

We both work from home, which enables us to give pets a lot of cuddling and attention. Plus, of course, the flexibility to walk them a few times every day.

We live in Rathmines and have nice green areas to walk dogs and play with them. Some of these parks have gates, which allows us to let them off the leash often.

We have experience with all sorts of dogs, from puppies to very old ones, including dogs that have been diagnosed as autistic ones. The pet owners we deal with have become true friends and we always keep in touch, sending pictures and sharing anecdotes of our common loved ones :)

Before receiving pets in our home we always prepare the flat accordingly, by removing any hazards and small things they can chew and swallow by accident. We don't feed them anything unusual, unless authorized by the owners.

Regarding the home visits and home sitting, we can do it on a regular basis when the owners are away to walk and feed them, clean any messes and administer oral medication, if required. Needless to say, that includes a good playtime with them as well, of course :)

Since we work remotely, our home visits can happen during weekdays as well. If your home is close to our address, we can visit your pet from 2 to 4 times a day, 1h during each visit. If it's farther away, we can potentially bring our laptops and work from there, which enables us to stay longer hours - if the owners are comfortable with that, of course.
