*I had a health emergency a few weeks ago so I'm just getting back to all my family's now. I will respond ASAP!*
Hello there! My name is Emerson. I am so excited to meet you and your fur family. A bit about me, I am a nontraditional student going into my 3rd year of my graduate entry, veterinary program at UCD. I have a degree in Animal science and experience working as a veterinary assistant in the USA. I have completed my pre-clinical veterinary animal experiences through UCD.
Back in the states, I have two cats and a dog. I have some personal experience with puppy training and trained my standard poodle to complete service tasks for fun. I am a very respectful sitter and will best fit with a family looking for someone very patient, who utilises alot of positive reinforcement. I love all kinds of walks - whether I am taking a "sniffy walk" and enjoying the scenery with older dogs or keeping a stronger pace with more athletic animals.
Depending on your location, I might have daytime availability during the work week. However, if the commute is longer than 15 minutes from UCD, I likely will be unavailable in mornings and midday M-F for this semester. Feel free to reach out to confirm availability.
Also, I am an excellent fit for LGBTQ families/allies.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
Emerson is a gem! We got very accurate and detailed updates for every visit and loads of pictures and videos. Emerson is nice, proactive and the onboarding to the new cats and apartment was very smooth. Highly recommend!
Emerson was just amazing at the meet and greet! Unfortunately I had to cancel on the day of my booking as the friend I was due to visit became unwell- Emerson was understanding, friendly and offered to sit for Ozzy whenever my friend and I can reschedule. I will most definitely be calling them again, they are wonderful!
