About Cailyn
My name is Cailyn and I'm a 4th-year student at UCD studying veterinary medicine. I moved here from Chicago IL, and have been loving living in Dublin! I've been here for several years now so I am finally starting to feel settled and at home in this city. I have lots of experience caring for dogs & cats. Prior to vet school, I worked as a veterinary technician in animal hospitals for several years so I have lots of experience with animals of all ages, breeds, & temperaments. I also am well able to administer any medications or therapies your pet may need and with my education and experience I am very equipped to deal with any pet emergencies should they arise. I love all dogs & cats but am also able to care for any other furry friends you may have. I miss my pets from home so much when I'm away so I would absolutely love the chance to meet your furry friends. As a student, my schedule is pretty open and flexible as I can often take lectures from home. I have an active lifestyle and love going for long walks. I am also perfectly happy chilling on the couch if that's more your pet's speed. I was recently recommended Pawshake by my classmates and it has been a great experience so far! As a lifelong animal lover and veterinary student, I believe I am very qualified to care for your pet!

I am very happy that we found Cailyn here. She looked after our cat and dog for eight days. Cailyn kept us updated and sent us photos and messages. Our dog was in heat at the time and Cailyn did an excellent job with this delicate and difficult task. Our return was greeted by our happy fluffy babies and a tidy home. Cailyn looked after Basil and Sybil for us for three nights at short notice. She was fabulous to deal with! Cailyn has a lovely gentle way about her, and I knew as soon as we met her that she would be great with our shy and anxious little Basil. Cailyn kept us informed while we were away with messages, photos and videos, and we came home to two very contented and well-cared for little kitties and a lovely tidy house. I would have no hesitation in recommending Cailyn, and I would very much like to work with her again.
