Hi, thank you for taking the time to read my profile. I am an IT Professional from Australia who has decided to take a gap year in my mid 30's to travel and experience Ireland and Europe. (I am 35)
Back in Australia I am the parent of a beaultiful 2.5 year old Mini Schnauzer called Ziva. Ziva has formed a pack and close bond with 4 other dogs and between their parents and I we all co-parented our children together. All of our children are COVID babies and as a result when the great return to the office began, we worked out a plan to share the load. Often we will go away together for the weekend with all the dogs. We attend the dog park on a daily basis and when the weather is right we love to take them all to the dog beach or out for an adventure.
While I am in Ireland I have a working holiday authorisation which allows me to complete casual work and I would love to have the opportuntity to look after your dogs. To help fill in the gaps and downtime between jobs and shifts. I miss the companionship and enjoyment of having my dog with me and would very much like to get to know your dogs and share my free time keeping them safe, loved, entertained and excersised. Pet/house sitting will also provide me with the opportunity of seeing the daily life of people in Ireland, rather than being locked into the tourist areas.
I am able to feed and administor basic medication to your dogs, but would be uncomfortable with a high needs pets as I have not experienced this before and would not want to do the wrong thing by you or your loved pet.
As I am lucky enough to be staying with a close friend in Ireland I will not be able to host puppies in her home. However I am more than happy to come spend the day with your puppy in their home and happy space.
I am currently available 7 days a week at any time of the day that suits you and your pet. This can be early morning, lunch, afternoons or evenings. I have the time and I am flexible. I will update my profile should this every change. I would also like to met you and your pet/s before we make any formal arrangements to ensure that we all get along. The last thing I would want is for you or your pet to feel streesed or uncomfortable around me.
For general walks I would take your dog for a stroll around the local neighboured, unless you advise of a specific park or play area where you want me to take you dog to. As I am new to Ireland I dont have any favourite go to spots yet, but I will come to learn of the good places as time goes by. If the weather is not great I am happy to excersise and entertain the dog in your home or yard. When we come back from walks any dirty undercarriages will be cleaned and dried where possible, to minimise the mess in your home and to ensure your dog is not cold.
When it comes to house and pet sitting, I am extremely flexible on the time frames required, whether you are looking for someone for 1 night or many weeks, I am more than happy to be there for your pet. I can also bring in the mail, water plants, do a bit of gardening and house work where required.
Your pets will be well loved and cared for when I am around and I am happy to go the extra mile to ensure they are happy. At the end of the day, the pets welfare and happiness are my top priorities.
Please let me know if you have any questions, I would be more than happy to answer them.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
