Hi, my name is Lauren and I am a professional dog groomer working for one of the most successful dog grooming companies in Dublin. I only work 3-4 days per week from 8am to 3pm so I feel that I have a lot of spare time and would love to spend my free time caring for animals as it is my passion and a great hobby for me. I have one dog called Nigel, I love him with all my heart and as much as I would love to have a second dog, I know I cannot at the moment. Pet sitting would be a great alternative to this though, as I can spend time with other peoples lovely dogs. I am very interested in helping people to achieve their training and grooming goals. I am extremely knowledgeable on all things dog related having completed QQI Animal Care level 5 before starting my dog grooming career. With only 3 years of experience under my belt I am delighted to say that I groom a number of show dogs, win grooming competitions and teach students the art of grooming. This is due to my huge passion for dogs and animal welfare. I handle every dog as though it is my own, I will be no different when it comes to minding others pets! I live in a spacious 2 bedroom flat with a balcony right beside the beach. I take my own dog on three walks a day; on the strand, to the park, and to the other larger beach 20 minutes from my house. There is a toileting space for dogs just outside my door. I will only take vaccinated dogs into my home as it is important that all dogs are safe in my care.

I also have extensive experience with exotics, having owned parrots, reptiles and rodents as well as working in a pet-shop before starting my grooming career. I enjoy researching their care and staying up to date with care standards of today for exotic animals.
