Hello! My name is Áine and I am 19 years old. I live in Clondalkin, Dublin. My motivation for being a pet sitter is that I am a complete animal adorer!! I want to make sure that you can take the time away that you need, while having the piece of mind that your pet(s) are safe and looked after. Any animals, reptiles and critters have a special place in my heart reserved just for them!
I have 4 family dogs myself, 2 big Alaskan malamutes, Cú (5yr, male) and Eevee (1.5yr, female), and 2 tiny jackchis, Toby (3month, male) and Temmie (3month, female). The two malamutes are related, and the two jackchis are brother and sister. I have 2 cats, Mowgli and Pedro, both male. I also have a tortoise (5yr, female). My siblings also have their own pets including Giant African snails, lizards, spiders, fish, who I have cared for briefly while my siblings have been away. We also used to have a snake, 2 geckos, lots of rabbits, and other dogs and cats.
I have ample experience with pets of all shapes and sizes, and I am more than happy to care for yours! I have good experience with giving oral and topical medication as we've had previous pets who have needed these. I do not have experience with injections or more specific treatments nor do I have any training or education in this area, so for the safety and care for your pet, I would recommend choosing a more experienced caregiver in that area should your pet require such treatments.
I love big dogs so size is not an issue at all for me. Walks, cuddles and playtime are super important to me to make sure your pet feels as loved as they should, and are getting the physical and mental care they deserve. Any and all advice and suggestions are welcome so I can make sure your pet feels safe and comfortable during their time with me, and have all of their specific needs and wants met.
