Hi! My name's Anouchka. I am a graduate entry medical student at UCD who is looking for some dog walking and petsitting work to earn some money whilst I study. My Granny is from Sligo and pursuaded me to come to Ireland (from the UK) to study - so I completed a degree in Neuroscience at Trinity College, worked for two years in a corporate role and am now in third year of graduate entry medicine at UCD which I love.
I adore animals and have previously owned a cat and a labradoodle so have a lot of experience with dogs and cats! I would love a pet of my own but my studies and shift pattern once I begin working means I cannot commit to a pet of my own at the moment which is why I'd love to petsit.
SERVICES:
Walking: For both walks and pet sitting I will engage, play and take photos to send to you of your pets. I will walk dogs at a fast pace for 50 -60 minutes which includes 10 minutes of play and fetch (depending on the dog). I am an active person and love walking down the pier and around the parks in Dun Laoghaire/ Monkstown- having a dog to accompany me would be even better! I can offer two walks per day (early morning and afternoon or afternoon and evening). I am flexible to the amount of dog walks I can offer per day depending on my studies and can arrange the schedule with you with lots of notice.
Petsitting at my own home: I live in a small two bed house with a fully fenced and secured back garden so would be happy to host pets at my house. Your pet would sleep downstairs in my living room. I have no other pets in my home. My partner also lives with me - he has previously owned three dogs and loves animals and would be introduced to the pet before their stay, he is often working shifts at a local brewery. I have photos of my living space in my photo gallery. I can board up to 2 small dogs or 1 large dog at a time in my own home. Your pets will be constantly supervised when boarding with me and will not be left alone. I study from home which means I do not need to leave the house. Again, petcare fits into my weekly routine because I study from home and have flexible hours attending hospital placement which I can adjust once I know I have a pet boarding job to prioritise. I will send you as many updates as you wish and send you photos and videos of your pet to keep you posted on how they are getting on.
Petsitting at your home: I am more than happy to petsit at the owners home. I would be respectful, clean and keep an eye on the house whilst you are away. I offer regular photo and video updates too.
I am more than happy to offer meet and greets to reassure both the owner and pet before walking or boarding pets. My role as a medical student means I am trustworthy, reliable and an excellent communicator. Feel free to get in touch with any questions - I also offer babysitting and science/ maths grinds to the local community.
Full refund if canceled before 12:00 p.m. one day before the booking, 50% refund afterward.
No refund is payable if the booking is canceled on or after the start date.
Note: All times are based on the sitter’s time zone
5 star service all round from Anouchka! She goes above and beyond and we will definitely be booking her again!
Anouchka was very responsive and communicative throughout the whole process from my booking request to the meet and greet and throughout my dog's stay she sent regular updates and photos. My dog is shy and timid around new people, but she immediately went to Anouchka for pets and responded well to her. I know my dog was in good hands and will definitely be booking with Anouchka in the future!
