I've lived with animals my whole life - I am 24, and I grew up surrounded by cats from the very first day (all rescues!). Later on, dogs also became part of the family. Pets are a huge and quintessential part of my life, and it feels strange not having a furry friend next to me since I live in an apartment where no animals are allowed. One of my biggest dreams at the moment is owning or at least fostering a cat or dog, so while this isn't a possibility, I would love to help owners take care of their pets :)

I don't think the dichotomy of "cat/dog person" applies to me: I think they're both lovely in their own way, and I would be equally glad to visit a kitty to clean up and feed him/her and to go for a long, brisk walk with a dog. Unfortunately, our pets have been with me and my family not only through health, but through sickness as well, so I am capable of dealing with stressed animals and taking minor medical care of them. I understand the importance of finding a common language with pets and considering their personality while spending time with them, be it walking a dog or brushing a cat.

I am afraid I cannot take animals into my home as a no-pet policy is inforced, but I would be glad to visit you and help you out. I have a full-time (work-from-home) job, so I would usually be available before 9 and after 5, but if necessary, I can find a way to find a time that suits you. I am also available anytime during the weekends.
