Dear dog parents,

We're Laura, Hugo & Lola the mini dachshund. Hugo grew up with two dogs, a Pinscher and a Beagle Mix and Laura welcomed her first family dog during the pandemic, a very sassy Dachshund called Luna. We are both passionate about dogs and our dogs back home are an essential part of our family. This is why we couldn't wait for our own dog any longer and in December 2023 adopted Lola from a shelter in Romania. Lola is a bit shy towards strangers but loves all dogs. Lola is the perfect mix of sassy and sweet and still learning her way around her new city life. A bit more about her humans: Laura has plenty of experience with dog training and is a member of the German Dachshund Club. Hugo used to volunteer at local dog shelters in his hometown Lisbon and has plenty of experience with dogs of all ages and sizes.

We are an active couple and love to spend time outside. We're happy to take care of dogs with different activity levels and can adapt easily to the dogs needs. We usually walk our dog for one hour every day throughout 4 walks during the day and go for longer walks and hikes on the weekend. We have a nice and spacious park in our apartment complex and another park just across the street.

We offer services such as pet sitting during the day and also overnight stays. A prior meet and greet is a must as we have a dog and need to make sure that the dogs get along. We don't leave our dog at home alone longer than 1 hour and have a doggy cam to check in when we're out. We live in a spacious 2 bedroom apartment and our dog mostly stays in the living room or the home office during the day and sleeps with us in our bed at night. Any guest pet is allowed in all the rooms in the house and sleeps in their dog bed (provided by the owner) next to us in the bedroom. We have a flexible work arrangement which means we can always make sure one of us is at home with the dogs. We're also quite experienced with rescue dogs and aware of their special needs. Our own dog still gets scared sometimes in new places with lots of people around and we're currently training her to build her confidence. We're also able to tend to dogs with special needs and can administer oral medicine.
