Hi everyone,

My name is Stephen and I'm a 27 year old working in IT and I've recently moved to Rathmines to live with my partner and we're unable to have pets in the apartment so I decided to sign up to Pawshake to still be able to have the joy of having pets. 

I grew up with a family cat(Lucy) and a grumpy little daschund(Cooper). I've missed them a lot as I grew with them by my side and have always been part of our family. I was living with a rescue lemon beagle(Olly) with anxiety issues where walks can be pretty difficult as he had an abusive past so he's scared of older men and any loud noises will cause him to turn around, unable to go down that road. I've a lot patience for these type of dogs and happy to work with them to improve their behavior. Also if there are any other special requirements your pet may need like medication, avoidance of other breeds, same walking routes etc I'll be happy to accomodate. 

My boyfriend and I love getting out rather than sitting in so we try get out whenever we can, going to the beach(Whiterock or Sandymount) or to the park(we love the river walk from Dartry park to Bushy park). We'd love to be able to bring a furry friend along with us through rain or shine. I also work from home majority of the time so if you're local to Rathmines I can do lunch time(between 12:30-2:30) walks and evening time I'll be more available. Average walks would be 30-45 mins and I usually record walks on my Garmin so you know where your dog has been and they've gotten a good walk. I'm also happy doing house visits, whether it's for a dog, cat or fish, I've a 120 litre aqurium myself so I know how presious they can be. I can stay for an hour on each visit ensuring they're fed, let out for the toilet and get a good run around. Since I work from home I'm able to dog sit as well and work from your home if needed. We all know how mischievious dogs can get when left home alone.
