Hi there, my name is Aoife and I'm a 25 year old full time remote worker with a huge passion for animals. I live in Dublin 15, 10 minutes away from my parents and family rescue dog (a Labrador mix) and take her with me any chance I get. I moved into my apartment at the beginning of the year and haven't made the decision to rescue my own dog just yet, but I feel that pet sitting would be an excellent stepping stone before making the commitment.

My motivation:

Id love to get into pet sitting whilst working from home - as I'm here all day every day, your pet will have constant companionship and plenty of attention. I'm aware of the amount of pet owners in my area who may not have the same luxury thus being forced with no other choice than to leave their pets for a few hours while at work.

I've pet-sat in the past for several friends and family members and can safely say that I'll treat your pet as if they are my own, making sure they feel safe, loved and entertained while you're away.

My availability:

I currently work as a business consultant in a software company. The work is fully flexible with no office, and my hours/call schedules are my own. The latest I work is until 5:30pm.

I'd be willing to accept pets between Monday-Friday as well as weekends subject to availability. I have no trips planned between now and December 2024, but should anything change I always strive to allow at least 1 week's notice for regular clients.

I also partake in competitive track and field which requires me to train on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6pm onwards, but Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays I am quite flexible if your pet needs to stay a little later!

My living space:

I live in a 1 bed apartment with a large open kitchen-living room layout, laminated wooden floors (scratch-proof!) and a decent sized outdoor terrace and garden area out the back. I'm a 30 second walk from Porterstown playing fields which I visit at least once a day, so your pet will get plenty of fresh air and exercise with me in the morning and/or afternoon if required!
