I absolutely love animals and have owned dogs, cats, hamsters and guinea pigs. I work from home and currently have no pets of my own, so your pet(s) will get lots of attention. I would love to have a dog, but, unfortunately due to needing to travel every few months, this isn't an option for me. So instead, I would love to take care of other peoples pets, whenever I can. I have recently started dog sitting again after a two year travel break!

I live in a pet friendly housing estate. My apartment is ground floor with a terrace and a green just outside. I have a lot of experience caring for dogs, cats and small animals. I have plenty of time during the day for walking and playing with your pet, one of the many perks of working from home.

Aside from dogs and cats, I have lots of experienc caring for rodents, but especially guinea pigs and hamsters and so I am more then happy to cater to them as well. Please note: for small pets I will require you to bring your own cage as it causes them far less stress then a cage change.

I have included above pictures of some of the pets i've owned and cared for. It was so difficult to choose which ones, they were all so cute :)

Please note for pet boarding: if you will be dropping your pet off before 12 pm or collecting your pet after 1 pm, please book an extra day as Pawshake charge per night, not per day. I can clarify this for you before booking is confirmed based on your chosen drop off and pick up times.
It is preferable that all pets have up to date vaccinations and are microchipped.
I require a confirmed booking before a meet and greet is arranged. Additionally, if your requested stay is longer then 4 days and you are not a repeat client, I require you to book a trial night. This is to ensure that your pet is a good fit for my home. (Trial nights only applicatable to dogs and cats)
You will receive two daily updates and your pet will get one 60 minute walk per day (this can be customised to suit your pets needs).
It is preferable that you bring your pets bed, toys and food to reduce homesickness. However, I can provide these if needed.

Please note for house visits, walks and house sitting: I only provide this serivce within the limits of Galway City. Please contact for further clarification.

Additionally, for legal reasons I cannot care for the following breeds or their crossbreeds at my home: American Pitbull Terrier, Staffordshire Bull Terrier, English Pitbull Terrier, Bull Mastiff, Doberman Pinscher, German Shepherd, Rhodesian Ridgeback, Rottweiler, Japanese Akita, Japanese Tosa. Generally I will not take any ban or bully breed or their crossbreeds, even those not listed specifically above.

Please be aware that I don't accept bookings for very high energy dogs who enjoy lots of outdoor time as these dogs are not a good fit for my home. However, I will house sit for high energy dogs.

In addition, I do not accept bookings on partially filled profiles. Your pets profit must be detailed and include pictures of your pet and a detailed description of your pets behaviours and any health issues.
