Hi! My name is Javiera, I'm a Chilean currently studying in Ireland, Dublin to be precise. One of the biggest challenges to be away from home has been separating from my dog, I have a dachshund named Simba, he's my baby and I miss him terribly, I've always been an animal lover and felt a special connection with doggies. All my life I've been surrounded by animals and I'm not ashamed to admit I like them more than people most of the time hahaha, and actually I have been vegetarian for almost 7 years now.

As of my experience taking care of animals, of course there's my dogs, my childhood dog I had for 14 years before he passed away in 2020 due to old age, and like I mentioned before Simba, whom I adopted in 2019. There's also some friends' pets that I've cared for through the years, one of them has an adorable french bulldog named Ricarda, another time I had a friend go away for 2 weeks so he left his pug, Ms. Ozzy with me; or more recently, this month I was staying with a Host Family, and my Hostess went out on a cruise vacation for 10 days, and I gladly took the responsibility of caring for Prince & Bailey upon myself, even when she was back in the house I continued making sure they were fed and played with them after I got back from class, not only to be helpful but also because it's really not a problem for me at all, on the contrary, I am delighted to be able to interact with animals for even a moment.
