Hello, my name is Robyn Mc Donald. I am a 34 year qualified History teacher, who has recently moved back home to Kilkenny, Ireland from Melbourne, Australia.

I am a massive animal lover with dog walking experience in Ireland, the UAE (Dubai) and Australia (Melbourne). I have volunteered to walk shelter dogs in Paws rescue in Ireland, at the UAQ Dog Shelter in Dubai (volunteered for five years) and The Lost Dogs Home, Melbourne (volunteered for 8 months). I have experience dog sitting for friends and family too. I am a responsible and trustworthy person.

I also raised over 1,500€ for the Lost Dogs Home by running Sydney marathon in September 2024. I am a kind, caring & compassionate person who has excellent experience walking all types of dogs; from the tiny to the rather large. I adore all dogs!

I am available for dog walks, home visits (once, twice per day), and overnight stays. I am comfortable with all dogs (all breeds, all sizes) as I have extensive experience dog walking and dog sitting for all types of dogs 🐶 🐾 🐕

For dog walks, I am available at your convenience, mornings, afternoons & evenings. Depending on location, I love bringing dogs for a walk around the Castle Park and the Canal in Kilkenny city, for one hour, but I am happy to walk your pet for longer, upon your request. I am also comfortable administrating oral medication.

For home visits, I am available to stay for 1 hour, however, I am available to stay longer (and overnight) if necessary. Furthermore, I am happy to take in post, water plants etc. too.

For overnight stays, I am available for as long as needed. As a young, single, woman, I am hyper aware of safety. I always take the necessary precautions to stay safe within homes. I am very strict on locking doors, ensuring all windows are closed, setting alarms etc. With regard to grooming, I do not have specific training, however, I have my own dog (Peig) and she gets her doggie bath every week. I am comfortable giving doggie baths, if needed :)
