Hey there! I'm Jessie. I'm a 29 years old student based in Whitehall, County Dublin. I've joined Pawshake to make some cash doing what I love, caring for cats and dogs! I strongly believe that the bonds we form with our pets resonate in a way that just isn't possible with our two legged (sometimes no so) hairless loved ones!

Cats and dogs have always been a part of my family from childhood. I have 2 cats of my own, Vinnie and Lady Marmalade, who are rescues. I could swear that a cat purring on my lap could heal almost any ailment 💛. Vinnie in particular is not a fan of dogs. Because of that, I only take care of anyone else's pets in their own homes. 

I have being providing my services through Pawshake for a year and a half now, though I've looked after neighbours and relatives pets several times over the years. This has included petsitting in the owners home, housecalls to feed/clean litterboxs/play, as well as dog walking. As a cat and dog lover I understand the importance of giving our furry friends plenty of stimulation and attention every day. I'll happily grit my teeth while a cat who graces me with their attention makes biscuits on my lap! No pain, no gain 😂 

My services include dog walking, drop ins, and housesitting. I'm a fully licensed driver with my own car, enabling me to bring your pets to exlore beaches, parks, and hiking trails. Endless opportunities for new smells! Routine and emergency trips to the vets are also not a problem. I am flexible and can accommodate your pet's needs from the comfort and familiarity of their own home. I am more than happy to spoil your pet with playtime and cuddles. I'm attentive to each individual pet's temperment and individual boundaries. If I take your dog on a particularly mucky walk, or they have an accident, I have no problem popping them into the bath/shower for a good scrub.

You can rest assured that your pet is in good hands as I will send text, photo, and video updates as much or as little as you prefer. Any peculiarities, be it dietary or otherwise, will be followed to the letter, ensuring familiarity and a sense of safety for your pet. When housesitting I will replicate your daily routine with your dogs/cats which helps to minimise any anxiety they may have around their beloved humans aren't around.
