About me- My name is Emer and I am 32. I am working hybrid during the week Monday-Friday which is great, as I get to be home for a good portion of the week with our dog Winnie. I live with my partner. I intend to only take on dogs when I can be home for the day with them. It will be 24/7 supervision. I love animals! We always had animals at home growing up including dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens and ducks. I have over 15 years experience in caring for and living with dogs. I have experience in caring for dogs from puppies, right up to old age. I am confident in caring for dogs that have additional needs or who require medication to be given. I am also experienced in training dogs in lead walking and the basic obedience commands to help build confidence and trust.
Our home - We own a two bedroom cottage in Donadea with a secure gate, an enclosed garden at the side of the house and a large yard. The garden has lots of shrubs and trees that our dog uses as her own personal obstacle course! We live near Donadea forest which is perfect for walks but there are plenty of other options near by, such as the greenway canal walk or Castletown house and gardens. I'm happy to walk your dog daily while they stay with us. If your dog is staying for the night, they could sleep in their bed/ crate in the kitchen or in the sitting room of our home.
My services - during your dog's time with us, I will take care of them by taking them on walks, giving them attention, making sure their bellies are happy and full and playing with them. I'll ask you some questions beforehand about your dog's personality and their needs regarding food, play, walks and sleep to provide the best care.
Feel free to check in with any questions during your pet's stay! I can also send pictures of how your dog is doing so you can be reassured. It is important to note that all dogs should be up to date on all vaccines and be comfortable around another dog. I will only be taking one other dog at any time so they have enough attention and space in our home. Initial meet and great can be arranged 🐾🐕🦺🦮
