My name is Nina and I am 26. Since half a year, I live and work in Dublin as an Account Executive in the adtech space. I am originally Dutch and have a soft spot for (all) animals.

I’ve always had a deep love for animals, growing up with a dog named Mickey, a cat named Wouter, and a guinea pig named Kasper. These animals were more than just pets to me—they were my soul companions, offering unconditional love and comfort. When Wouter passed away, it was incredibly difficult, but we later adopted a senior cat who spent his final years with us in peace. This really helped with the grieving process.

When I started living on my own in the Netherlands, I rescued a kitten named Suki, who had been abandoned. I raised him until I moved to Ireland, but due to housing restrictions, I couldn’t bring him with me. It was the worst that could happen and I cried for weeks. Fortunately, my mom takes wonderful care of him, and I visit him every time I go back. Living abroad without a pet made me realize how much I missed the companionship of animals.

Now, living in a new apartment, I have the joy of spending time with my roommate’s dachshund, who I adore and walk whenever I can. This connection with him made me realize that becoming a pet sitter is the perfect way for me to share my love for animals. While I can’t have a pet of my own due to my lifestyle (I travel a lot for work and would not be able to care for my own pet the way it deserves), I’m eager to provide care, attention, and companionship to other pets in need. With experience in caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and even fish, I promise to offer the best care possible to your beloved pets!
