Hey, I'm Carmel and I'm currently a psychology undergraduate that has a good bit of free time to follow my passion for animal care. Cats have a very special place in my heart as I have been looking after them for over 5 years now and have 2 lovely cats myself, one of which was feral (patience is very important!). I have been a regular cat sitter on Cat in a Flat over the past 2 years so I have experience with all types of cats.

Having said that, I have started to mind dogs now and I'm falling in love with them too! I find it fascinating how intricate animals' personalities are and I would be honoured to get to know your pet :)

I have a lot of experience taking care of various animals having worked on an animal sanctuary for 8 weeks. Additionally, I have completed a veterinary assistance course.

I know how stressful it can be when going away on holidays and leaving the fur babies at home, and my role is to make sure that they are well looked after and cared for. My visits would include feeding, cleaning, playing, and of course having some cuddles! Each pet has their own needs so I would accommodate to what best suits them - something that we would discuss in a meet and greet arranged beforehand. Usually I aim to stay with your pet(s) for at least 30 minutes for house visits, but often I stay longer so they have some company. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!

Additionally, due to my volunteering work, I have been Garda Vetted.
