I have lived in Dublin for the last 6 years. 4 years ago I started fostering for a local cat rescue. In that time I have fostered over 150 cats and kittens.
I also have 5 cats and a dog in my own household. And have lived with animals all of my life.
I recently gave up my career in the financial industry as I want to devote my time to animals and their welfare. On each visit I would greet your fur baby and do an initial check of the property to ensure all is ok. I would then fill feed bowl and ensure there is fresh water available. my time would then be devoted to play and cuddle time with your fur baby. Before leaving I would clean up toilet areas and send a picture of your pet to you to show they are well . Finally I would leave the premises secure . With dog walking the difference would be instead of playtime it would be a quality walk based around play, exercise and training with the emphasis on the mini adventure being centred around your best friend.
i have 3 rules:
1. Attend when requested.
2. Carry out instructions as requested.
3. Leave a happy and content pet.
I am presently walking dogs and pet sitting in an around the South County Dublin and Wicklow areas (such as Bray)I am hoping to have enough clients so i can dedicate my time to my chosen path pet care .
I have a pet sitting and dog walking diploma, a pet psychology diploma, have a pet first aid certificate. I have also recently published a book on dog training called Walkie Talkies all around building a happy relaxed relationship with your dog by using a mutual language. This is something I do on all of my walks and with my own dog.
Every review I have had from clients have been 5 star ratings .
