Hi, my name is Jackie. I am 51 and have had both cats and dogs most of my life. I have a twelve year old terrier named Bailey who is quite used to other dogs staying in my home.
Three years ago I gave up working in accounts to care for my dad full time.
When my friend who had always looked after my dog when I went on holiday couldn't mind him for work reasons, I began to search for another sitter which is how I came across pawshake.
When my dad's health problems got worse and needed 24/7 care, I decided to apply to be a pet sitter as I had the time to give care and attention to people's pets.
I live alone with my dog so offer a relaxing and quiet home for the older dog to chill out after a walk and a safe space for the young ones to play and sleep. It's very secure and no risk of dogs getting out and running onto the road.
I have cared for in my home small dogs such as miniature Jack Russells to large Greyhound, lurchers and golden labradórs. All completely content to curl up on my sofa and relax after regular walks.
I live close to Dublin Airport and directions from M50 very simple and less than ten minutes.
Jackie was great minding Lewie he sellted in great!! had great walks and was looked after so good.
Jackie was great at sending up dates and would highly recommend Jackie to to mind our dogs.
Regards damien.
Finch had a great time at Jackie and Bailey's. I was a bit worried how he would react (and behave when we collected him again), as a newish rescue dog and post lockdown, its the first time he was away from us for any length of time. But Jackie kept me up to date with how things were going and pictures and video. I think he even picked up some good manners from Bailey. Will definitely be getting in touch with Jackie the next time i need someone to give Finch a home from home for the night. Thanks!
I can give oral medication and ear drops.
