Hello! My name is Rafa, and I’m a dog lover based in Dublin City Centre, near O’Connell Street. 🏙️

I work remotely from home, and I live in a household with just my husband — no roommates or pets. He works outside the home during the day, so I’m alone with the pet, giving them full attention, company, and care. 

This setup allows for great companionship: I provide company for them, and they provide company for me. My schedule is very flexible, so I can easily adjust to different needs — whether it’s walks, daycare, or house sitting. 💛🐕

🎓 About My Experience:

My love for dogs comes from years of sharing my life with 2 amazing companions — Keka (19 years) and Tuca (17 years), who have passed away recently. ❤️🩹 Through them, I learned everything about patience, consistency, and unconditional love. That experience shapes how I care for every pet today: with affection, empathy, and respect for their unique personalities. 

I usually ask a few friendly questions before confirming a booking — just to understand your dog’s personality, habits, and needs. That way, I can give them the best care and attention possible. 💛

🏡 About My Home:

Although I live in the city center, my home has a spacious and fully fenced backyard where dogs can play safely, run around, and enjoy some sunshine. There’s also a large park just around the corner, perfect for daily walks and outdoor time. 🌳

Pets are never left alone for more than 2 hours, and they always sleep indoors in a dedicated space under the window where they can rest comfortably and enjoy a calm, cozy environment at night. 🌙

🐕 Services Offered:

-- Dog Boarding & Day Care – For small and medium dogs only. Usually one dog at a time (or two if they’re siblings or live together). 

Dog Boarding works on a 24-hour basis, while Day Care covers an 8-hour daytime stay.

⏳ If you ever need a few extra hours beyond the 24-hour Dog Boarding stay, no worries — we can usually arrange it for an additional €3/hour (up to 8 extra hours). If the stay extends beyond that, a full Day Care will be added to the booking.

-- House Sitting & Home Visits – Care for dogs of all sizes at your home. Overnight stays available if needed.

🌿 I’m also happy to help with watering plants or collecting mail during home visits.

-- Dog Walking – Up to two medium dogs or one large dog per walk.

⏰ Pick-Up & Drop-Off Times:

-- For House Sitting & Home Visits, we can arrange everything to suit your needs — just send me a message, and we’ll plan it together! 💬

-- Day Care drop-off is between 8–11am, with pick-up between 4–7pm (8-hour stay), depending on drop-off time.

-- Dog Boarding drop-off and pick-up are preferably between 8–11am.

-- Dog Walking is best scheduled between 8–11am.

⚠️ I only offer pick-up within about 2 km from my place. Since I do the pick-ups on foot — it’s part of a nice 30-minute walk together! — the service is charged as one Dog Walking added to the booking. ☀️🐾

✅ Additional Info:

I’m comfortable giving oral medication when needed and I’m familiar with basic positive reinforcement training. 🐾 For safety and comfort, I welcome only vaccinated pets.

Animals have always been a big part of my life, and caring for them genuinely makes me happy. My goal is to make every pet feel loved, safe, and completely at home while you’re away. 🏡🐕
