Hi,

I’m Jessie and I love dogs! I’ve been lucky enough to have grown up surrounded by wagging tails, they have always been a huge part of my life!

When I was born, my family had a beautiful long-haired German Shepherd named Dooddy, who became my very first best friend and playmate until I was seven, when he sadly passed away. After that, Benjie — a Collie/Springer Spaniel mix — came bounding into my life and was my constant companion from the age of eight right up until he reached the incredible age of 18. He truly felt like a lifelong best friend! More recently, our little ball of fluff Poppins, a Cockapoo, joined the family and has been living like an absolute princess ever since. Growing up with such wonderful dogs has given me a deep love and understanding of them at every stage of life, from playful puppies to gentle seniors.

My motivation for becoming a dog walker comes not only from my love for dogs but also from how much I miss having a dog in my everyday life. Unfortunately, my fiancé and I’s current living situation doesn’t allow us to have a dog of our own right now. I really miss the simple joys — the belly rubs, the excited tail wags, and that warm welcome at the door. While I still get to see Poppins when I visit home during the week, it just isn’t the same, and I find myself missing that daily connection. That’s why I’d love to fill that gap by spending time caring for other people’s dogs — giving them the love, attention, and walks they need, while also doing something that genuinely makes me happy.

I also spent a year living in Thailand, where I volunteered at animal sanctuaries and helped care for street dogs. During that time, we fostered a very sick dog named Pearl and nursed her back to health. It was an incredibly rewarding experience that taught me patience, attentiveness, and how to care for dogs with different needs.

I offer friendly, reliable dog walking tailored to your dog’s needs. I’m happy to do shorter or longer walks depending on their energy levels, and I always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I’m patient with nervous dogs and love keeping more energetic dogs engaged and active.
