🐾 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗺𝗲

Hi, I’m Roberto. I live in Viking Harbour, Dublin 8, in The Liberties, just across from Croppies Acre Memorial Park and about a 10-minute walk from Phoenix Park.

I offer dog walks, day care, boarding, home visits, feeding and company. I can also help with cats and other pets when the care needed is clear and a good fit.

I live on my own and I don’t have any pets at home, so my place is calm, quiet and simple. The park is just across from me, and Phoenix Park is close too, so it is easy to keep dogs in a good routine.

I genuinely enjoy being around animals, but I also take the responsibility seriously. Before looking after a pet, I like to understand their routine, personality, walks, food, sleeping habits and anything important the owner wants me to know.

I’m calm, reliable and careful with instructions. I’ll follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible and keep you updated with photos, so you know how they are getting on.

Outside work, I’m also studying, I train CrossFit most days, and I enjoy walking, cooking and travelling when I can.

🐕 𝗗𝗼𝗴𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝘁𝘀

I’m happy to look after small and medium dogs, and calm larger dogs too, as long as they are friendly, house trained and comfortable around people.

For dog walks as a separate service, I offer 30 or 45 minutes, depending on your dog’s routine and energy.

For day care or boarding, I’ll follow your dog’s usual routine as much as possible, including walks, feeding, rest and any specific instructions you give me.

I also fostered cats through CDPA while they were waiting for their permanent homes. One of them, Nova, was very shy at first and used to hide under the sofa. I gave her time and space, and after a while she started coming to me every morning when I woke up. I like seeing animals settle in at their own pace.

🏡 𝗠𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲

Dogs can rest indoors in a calm and quiet space. I don’t have other pets at home, so the environment is simple and relaxed.

If your dog is staying with me, I’ll try to keep things close to what they are used to at home. Some dogs need more activity, some need more quiet time, and I’ll always adapt to that.

Any time alone would always be discussed first and only if your dog is comfortable with it.

Before confirming a booking, I like to know a bit about your pet and what they are used to. This helps me make sure it is a good fit and that your pet will be comfortable with me.

For boarding and day care, I prefer to meet first when possible, especially if it is the first time I will look after your dog.

I know leaving your pet with someone new is a big thing, so I’m happy to meet first, have a chat and make sure you feel comfortable before booking.
