👋 About Me & My Dog

Hi! My name is Ágata, I’m 31 years old and originally from Brazil. I’ve been living in Ireland for the past 12 years.

Caring for animals has always been my true passion, and after years of experience with pets, I made the decision to follow this passion professionally. I have been working full-time as a pet sitter for the past 2 years, fully dedicated to providing reliable, knowledgeable, and loving care.

I share my life with my wonderful 5-year-old Rough Collie, Crystal 🐾

Crystal is friendly, gentle, and very well-socialised. She has extensive experience being around other dogs and adapts beautifully—she loves to play but also respects boundaries when needed. She listens very well to commands, which makes her a great companion for dogs who are learning social skills or simply enjoy good company 🏅

Crystal is an active dog, so we go out at least twice a day, morning and evening—rain or shine ☀️🌧️

We enjoy long walks, park time, social play, and fetch (she’s obsessed with her ball 🥎).

Your dog will follow the same routine, unless you tell me otherwise 🫡 

📍 Where Your Pet Will Stay

I live in Dublin 8, right in front of Dublinia, a very central and pet-friendly area.

• 🏞️ Two parks within a 3-minute walk
• 🌿 Close to St Patrick’s Cathedral and several green spaces
• 🏠 Ground-floor apartment with direct access to a shared & secure patio (easy outdoor access for toilet breaks & socialisations)
• 🐕 Other dogs in the building – very pet-friendly environment

✨ My Experience, Passion & What You Can Expect

I’ve had pets my entire life and have always been deeply curious and fascinated by dog behaviour and training.

When I adopted Crystal during the pandemic at just 3 months old, I became fully responsible for her development, training, and emotional wellbeing. This experience strengthened my passion even more and motivated me to invest continuously in professional education.

Understanding canine body language, behaviour, communication, and learning processes is extremely important to me. That’s why I regularly take courses to improve my knowledge, skills, and handling techniques, ensuring I offer the best possible care for every dog.

I strongly believe pets are like small children—they need routine, stimulation, boundaries, understanding, patience, and affection.

When your pet is under my care, you can expect:

• 🧠 Care based on behavioural knowledge and observation
• 📸 Daily photo & video updates for peace of mind
• 🎥 A living room security camera used only if I briefly step out, so I can monitor pets at all times

• 📘 2-Day Career as a Dog Trainer – IMDT (Certificate of Attendance)
• 🐕 4-Day Practical Instructor Course – IMDT UK (Certificate of Attendance)
• 🐾 Canine Body Language Course (1 Day) – IMDT (Certificate of Attendance) 

⚠️ Health & Safety

• 💉 Crystal is fully vaccinated, including kennel cough, and is up to date with flea & worm treatments.
•  For Daycare and Boarding stays, a reasonable and respectful level of hygiene is expected (clean coat, no strong odours, and up-to-date parasite prevention), to ensure a comfortable and healthy environment for all pets.

Boarding

• Check-in: 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm
• Check-out: before 11:00 am

Dog Daycare

• Check-in: 8:00 am
• Check-out: 6:00 pm
