My name is Marie Delalande. I'm am a 22 years old French Master's student in Sustainability studies at Trinity College for the next semester.
I always have loved animals and wanted to be a vet when I was a kid. Even though life brought me in another direction, I'm still passionate about our little friends. Lately, I am also considering taking a course to become an assistant vet on top of my studies.
I did ten years of horse riding. I learned how to take care of horses, understand them, train them. In return, they build up my self-confidence, my mental strength and taught me to never give up and always get back on the saddle (in real life too).
I am an advocate for animal rights and want to work in wildlife protection worldwide.
I am a hardworking, serious, open-minded and very organized person. I will know how to take your dog for a walk around the city of Dublin or to visit your animal at home. I volunteered a couple of times in a shelter for dog walking and also looked after cats of friends many times. Finally, my family and I have a Persian cat, and I'm therefore used to taking care of him.
I can speak English, French and Spanish (and animal language of course :) )
I will be very happy to meet you and your dog(s), cat(s) or any other pets! Feel free to contact me if you need further information.
I am pleased with Marie, she showed up and took care of my Juice for two weekends in a row while I was away. I came back home to a calm and peaceful cat, and everything sorted out at home☺️
