My name is Stella, and I absolutely love animals. My husband and I have five adorable cavaliers (three boys and two girls), between 2 and 9 yrs old, a gorgeous 3+ yr old golden retriever boy, and three beautiful rescue kittens (one local, Panda, male, one Athenian, Gyros, male, and one Cretan, Pita, female). We also have a 2 yr old kitten, Sunny, who has been missing for over 3 yrs now.

Two of our cavaliers, the two youngest ones, are our girls Luna and Titina. Two more, Totò and Teddy, are rescues from Cavaliers in Need Northern Ireland. Our oldest cavalier was a volunteer with the Irish Therapy Dogs until 2020; once a week we would visit a nursing home in our area and provide some comfort and joy to some of its residents.

Just over two yrs ago, 18-9-2023, we unexpectedly lost our 5 yr old ruby boy, Peppino. He is always in our hearts and we miss him terribly. Our girls Luna and Titina came to the family after his loss, in an effort to offer a good home to another ruby cavalier.

We consider all of them our babies!

We love all animals and all dog breeds. We have had birds and guinea pigs in earlier years, and many cats. Sometimes we mind or board friends’ dogs, and they absolutely love it, staying in our home, playing with our four boys at our beautiful and secured garden areas, and eating home-cooked food. We often provide home cooked food to ours, eh, and quite a few healthy treats here and there… :-)

Please note that two of our boys are neutered (the two rescues), the rest are not (neutering pending for three of them).

As our dogs and cats are our babies, we treat them as such; thus, they are always indoors, day and night, and sleep in our space as well. We are always together and minding them properly, even while working.

Our dogs (and our kittens) are incredibly friendly and fun to be around for any size dog. As long as your baby feels comfortable with a little canine gang (and their feline leaders!) surrounding them, we would love to mind him/her at our home, or board them. * Please note that:

1) Day care is offered between 8 am and 6 pm (up to 10 hrs), unless otherwise agreed in advance. Bookings more than or outside this schedule are boardings;

2) Although test visits are scheduled and owners may be happy to confirm their booking request, no booking request is actually finalised until it is confirmed on the Pawshake system with a booking reference provided. Thus, as we only accept a limited number of guest doggies each time, please make sure to book as soon as possible after your test visit if you are happy with it.

Recent update: please note that our cat, Sunny, has gone missing since the 26th of May 2022. Sunny is a 2-year old male unneutered cat. Photos of him I have on my profile. If anyone in the larger area around Dunleer has seen him, please contact me asap. We are still looking for him.
