Hi, my name is Jackie. I am 51 and have had both cats and dogs most of my life. I have a ten year old terrier named Bailey who is quite used to other dogs staying in my home.
Three years ago I gave up working in accounts to care for my dad full time. I looked after his dog when he needed to go into hospital and also family and friends dogs when they went on holiday.
This year my friend who always looked after my dog couldn't do it for work reasons and after months of meetings found a sitter he immediately bonded with.
When my dad's health problems got worse and needed 24/7 care, I decided to apply to be a pet sitter as I had the time to give care and attention to people's pets.
I live alone with my dog so offer a relaxing and quiet home for the older dog to chill out after a walk and a safe space for the young ones to play and sleep. It's very secure and no risk of dogs getting out and running onto the road.
I take my dog out for a walk three times a day. Half hour in the morning to large a green across the road from my home, an hour at lunch time to either Albert college Park or Santry Demesne which is about fifteen minutes away. On sunny days local residents and I will spend a couple of hours letting dogs socialise and play.
I live close to Dublin Airport and directions from M50 very simple and less than ten minutes.
Venus returned a happy dog after 5 days with Jackie. We will be contacting her when we're going away anytime. 🐕😀
Jackie is the best! Our go-to sitter.
I can give oral medication and ear drops.
