About Fiona
Hi there. I have had dogs for most of my life. When I couldn't have a dog, due to a teeny garden, I looked after dogs as often as I could and have been doing so for approximately 10 years. I now have 2 little rescue dogs (both girls - despite their names)!!!! Patsy who was 3 in March 2019 and Eddie who was 3 in Dec 2019. Poppy the puppy joined our family in May 2021 and will be 1 in March 2022. They have been socialised from a very early age and are friendly with kids and other dogs. They like nothing more than a good walk in one of our many local parks, or if it's a nice day we head to the beach. I generally do a midday walk for about an hour to an hour and a half - all guest dogs' needs are readily adapted to and I stick to all instructions given by the owners to ensure a smooth transition from your home to mine. My garden is completely secure - so no chance of escape - no matter how big or small your dog. All dogs who come to stay are treated like one of the family and get plenty of TLC and cuddles. They all have a free run downstairs in the house and we have a dog flap in the back door so they follow each other out to the garden. As this is my full-time job (even though I don't think of it as work) I'm with the dogs for most of the hours in the day. The dogs have lots of playtime in or out of the garden followed by long periods of sleep. They sleep downstairs in the sitting room or kitchen(their choice) in one of my many beds, or in their own bed if they prefer. Most mornings I get up to dogs sleeping on the sofa!! They love it. It's always lovely to have other dogs come to stay with us.
Before you decide if you'd like your pet to come we would love for you to pop over and meet up with us all - peace of mind for you that they will be in a safe, happy, loving environment and it gives the dogs a chance to get to know each other. I send regular photo updates throughout the day so you can see how much your babies are enjoying their stay.
Unfortunately, I can't take dogs under 2 years of age as sometimes there could be up to 4 or 5 guest dogs on sleepovers.

Fiona offered a great service and made Charlie feel right at home. My kids particularly loved that they got dailly updates and photos from Charlie's holiday. It was the personal touches that made me comfortablre leaving him there and I would recomend it to anyone who wants their dog cared for and not just housed while they enjoy their holidays. If I am lucky enough to get another week away later in the year then hopefully Charlie will also.
