Throughout my entire life, I have owned, worked with and trained dogs, horses and various other types of animals. Growing up, my family had labs, golden retrievers and a variety of rescue pups as well as horses, cats, rabbits, hamsters, fish, and turtles.
I always took on the responsibility of caring for and training each of our pets. Also, I regularly volunteered at animal shelters throughout my life and served as a dog walker while living in LA. I am an avid horseback rider as well and have years of experience facilitating therapeutic riding and equine assisted education and psychotherapy services.
I have completed the first stage of my qualification as a horse trainer and have experience bringing on young horses and retraining remedial horses with behavior problems. I also have a mental health qualification and have a lot of experience working with young people and adults with mental, emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Currently, I own a 1-year-old Border Terrier named Blue. I’ve attended a lot of dog training courses with him and we hope to do some agility training once he’s a bit older.
I’ve recently moved to Dublin from London with my husband and am living in Milltown. I live in a flat with lots of green space and parks nearby. I also have a car so can transport pets if needed. I have a very flexible schedule and can provide 24/7 supervision with lots of walks and playtime. I love to travel and understand the importance of finding someone trustworthy to look after your beloved pet while you are away!
