Hey, my name is Emma, and I’m a 21-year-old college student with a lifelong love for animals and aim to work with animals in my future particularly in animal welfare, conservation and behaviour.

I’ve grown up around dogs, cats and horses, and love being surrounded by animals and ensuring they're safe, happy and healthy🥰 I take pride in providing the same level of care your pet would receive at home. However, I only take vaccinated pets into my home to maintain a safe and healthy environment for all.

💚Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind-where I helped with basic training, socialisation, and caring for puppies in their early development stages as well as older dogs for temporary boarding which included an online learning course and in-person training.

💜Dogs for the Disabled-in their holiday relief role where I cared for dogs in training during a short period of time when their full time owner couldn't.

🧡Wildlife Rescue Centre-where I worked in the centre helping feed, clean and care for the various animals and their enclosures along with rescuing injured, sick or orphaned wildlife and bringing them to the vet/centre.

💙Cat and Dog Protection Association- where I answer calls from the public which can vary from concerns of stray cats or dogs or help with people who are looking to surrender their pet along with giving information on their trap neuter and return scheme or how they could become a fosterer.

❤️Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland- I help out in their doggy training school where I supervise playtime, help with co-operative training, feeding, walking and just ensuring the dogs enjoy their day at school and all their needs are met.

Each experience was an incredibly rewarding that offered the different opportunities which deepened my understanding of canine behaviour, managing and supporting wildlife and the importance of consistency, patience, and trust when working with all temperaments and different species.

Breakdown of the services I offer:

Dog Walks:

🐾60 minute walks

🐾Prioritise walking dogs in environments they're comfortable and familiar with

🐾Off leash walk/play (only with good recall)

🐾Can travel to different locations;

🐾Senior dogs who cannot manage such long walks will have enrichment activities to help stimulate them

🐾Proper leash etiquette during walks
