I'm motivated to be a pet sitter quite simply because I love dogs and cats - and other animals very much. I can do animals, I can't do people (with a few exceptions)!

I grew up in the rural village of Whitechurch in County Cork, where we had German Shepherds and Collies. I currently live in Cork city, so I don't really have enough space for a big dog to live. Therefore, it'd be like a hobby-job for me, to take dogs and cats for walks, petting, groom, house sitting and general pet fun. 

I love running around with animals. I can easily keep pace with smaller dogs and puppies, however, bigger/faster breeds such as German Shepherds, I'd use a bike so as to keep pace with them. 

My experiences with pet sitting with pawshake.ie have been entirely positive, which I imagine will continue. It's the new year, I'm a teacher, so I have plenty of availability. I have references, Teaching Council certification and Garda Vetting (pun not intended) should you wish to see this.

I'd ideally only care for pets who are vaccinated, but if it's for walks, then unvaccinated dogs are fine. I'd take at most four pets at a time.
