Hello!

Welcome and thanks for stopping by. My name is Impi.

In our small family home, we have a golden retriever pup 10m called Méabh, two elderly sister cats, Noodle and Doodle, and our two children (6 + 9).

I grew up in the Wicklow hills, in an old farmhouse on two acres. We always had many animals: always several dogs and cats, chickens and ducks, sometimes a rescue pony, at one point a family of rescue peacocks! Being around animals has always been natural to me, and I love anything with fur or feathers! I believe pets are part of the family, and any dog staying with us is treated as our own.

We open our home to a small number of family pets for boarding and day care. I keep it very limited with numbers, as we are a home, not a boarding facility. Dogs that join our home join in with all normal family activities, and have a true home from home holiday. They stay indoors with us, have sofa cuddles, come for walks, have garden time and generally a very relaxing stay.

Méabh our resident cream golden, is as friendly as you get. She absolutely adores other dogs, and is very used to sharing her home with all shapes, sizes, breeds and ages of dog! She loves them all. She’s an extremely good-natured girl. 

Our two cats are 10 years old, and not particularly interested in doing anything but snoozing. They spend 95% of their day snoozing on the beds upstairs. We have a stairgate in place, and dogs are kept downstairs so the cats can have their snoozes, and they do not interact with the dogs. Dogs are not allowed upstairs, but are free to roam anywhere downstairs and in our secure back garden.
