About Caoimhe
Hello!
I have recently moved back to Cork after spending six years in Australia and New Zealand. I’ve always loved animals big and small especially dogs. While I’d love to have one of my own someday, for now I’m delighted to care for the dogs I look after as if they were my own.
Over the years, I’ve gained lots of experience with dogs as family pets, through volunteering with the Guide Dogs, fostering with DAWG, and pet sitting in Ireland and abroad. I truly enjoy long walks in local parks, trips to the beach, or forest adventures, there’s nothing better than watching a dog enjoy the outdoors! At home, I’m happiest curled up on the couch with a dog for cuddles, playtime, or simply keeping them company.
Through fostering with DAWG and training dogs for the Guide Dogs, I’ve learned the importance of routines and clear expectations. I’m happy to continue any training you are working on at home. As a primary school teacher, structure and consistency are part of my everyday life, and I naturally carry this into the way I care for pets. Every morning begins with a walk before work, and I’m home in the late afternoons for more walks, play, or cuddle time.
