Franklin

Hey! My name is Franklin and I currently live with my shepherd mix, Fry. 

I rescued him from an SPCA animal shelter in New York, USA when he was just under a year old. His paperwork said he was taken away from his original owner by the authorities due to animal cruelty so he had severe issues with separation anxiety and was fearful of other dogs. After much work and training, Fry is now an incredibly well behaved member of the family who can now be alone for hours, get along very well with other dogs, and is very affectionate 😁 

He has also traveled to 6 countries and has lived in 3! 

My motivation for signing up here is that I simply love dogs, especially training and helping any dogs that have behavioral issues. I believe I have a lot to offer with my experience so I'm happy to help anyone in need of a dog sitter that is responsible, knowledgeable, and can handle dogs of any size and personality.

I know how to be a good pack leader, understand dog/pack mentality, and, above all, love spending time with them 😁

I have a large apartment and work from home so I'm with the dogs for the vast majority of the day. However, I can only accept dogs that are house trained, don't chew furniture or house plants, and are comfortable with being home alone in case I have to step out (when I'm out I have a camera I use to monitor the dogs). When I'm not home, I will keep your pup separate from mine until I am fully confident they will all get along :) Don't worry, I am never gone for long periods of time. 

When the dogs aren't home with me, we're outside probably running and playing in the nearby fields, taking a stroll down the Blackrock Railway Greenway or The Marina, or getting some delicious treats at the Marina Market 😁

If your dog has any behavioral issues please please please let me know in advance because it helps me handle them better. I am happy to train your pup with anything you need at no additional cost.
