Hello Paw Parents!

I am Deepta, a marketer by profession and a big animal lover at heart! 

I have had cats, dogs, fish, and turtles as pets since my childhood. Some of my fondest memories are from summers I spent on my grandparents' farm, caring for different kinds of animals. Over the years, I have rescued and helped many dogs and cats find loving homes. My adopted pets are now living with my parents back in India, and I miss them loads. 

I am currently sharing my home with my housemate's two beautiful cats, Erith and Aaya who fill my days with joy.

My motivation to be a pet sitter

My lovely previous Irish host, whose dog I often babysat, always encouraged me to offer pet-sitting and dog walking services because she saw how naturally I connect with them. I recently completed my master’s degree and, while I search for a full-time role, I want to spend my free time at hand doing something that genuinely makes me happy, and that's walking dogs, caring for pets, and just being around animals.

My experience 

I strongly believe that every animal has their own unique personality, and I love understanding and adapting to each one's needs and behaviour. I'm very patient, gentle, and attentive, and always treat pets with kindness and respect.

I have cared for dogs of all sizes, from small breeds to large ones like German Shepherds and Golden Retrievers. I am mindful and treat every animal with kindness. Back in India, I also volunteered to vaccinate and help neuter stray dogs. I’ve trained both dogs and cats, walked up to two big breeds at a time, and taken care of pets for friends and family as well.
