Hey there! I'm Jessie. I'm 28 years old and live between Ashbourne and Swords. Currently I am between college courses and am looking to make some cash doing what I love, caring for cats and dogs! I have grown up with both cats and dogs and love them all dearly. I strongly believe that the bonds we form with our pets resonate in a way that just isn't possible with our two legged (mostly) hairless loved ones!
I have looked after cats and dogs for neighbours and relatives in the past. This has included petsitting in the owners home, housecalls to check in to feed/clean litterboxs/playtime, as well as dog walking. Pickle and Peanut are the family dogs and I love them dearly. Myself and my partner have two rescue cats called Lady Marmalade and Vinnie. I adore them both and love nothing more than cuddling up with them. As a cat and dog lover I understand the importance of giving our furry friends plenty of stimulation and attention every day. I'll happily grit my teeth while a cat who graces me with their attention makes biscuits on my lap! No pain, no gain 😂
My services include walks, housecalls, and housesitting. I'm a fully licensed driver with my own car, enabling me to bring your pet to their favourite walking spots, as well as to the vet for appointments if needed. I provide my services in Meath and Dublin, and beyond for longer stays. I am flexible and can accommodate your pet's needs from the comfort and familiarity of their own home. I am more than happy to spoil your pet with playtime and cuddles. I'm attentive to each individual pet's temperment and individual boundaries. I'm more than happy do some grooming such as bathing and nail trimming if requested.
You can rest assured that your pet is in good hands as I will send text, photo, and video updates frequently. Any peculiarities, be it dietary or otherwise will be followed to the letter, ensuring familiarity and a sense of safety for your pet. Jessie is excellent and exceptional. She was taking care of my 13 year old cocker spaniel and 3 year old tortoise. Misty (cocker) has a lot of trust issues with new people and she completely won Misty over. After Misty had been abused a lot of her life before I got her, I am always hesitant to introduce new people.
Jessie not only scheduled time for a meet and greet but was able to listen to me about how best to manage Misty. Which is imperative for an owner who knows their dogs behaviour. You could tell that Jessie took my care of Misty and Misty seriously. And didn’t assume she knew more or better than my personal experiences with her.
Jessie was punctual and communicative for the entire time of her caring for Misty. I got regular video and pictures of them having a lovely time. Misty even curled up on Jessie’s lap. And when I came home, I had a very happy, content, anxiety free Misty.
I can’t overstate how much of a miracle that is.
I couldn’t recommend Jessie any more highly.
I am very pleased to recommend Jessie to anyone who would like good care for their pets. My Labrador Nally loves her. Jessie took her to her favourite places for her walkings and she was very happy on her return. I would not hesitate to book Jessie again for Nally.
