Hi there! My name is Helen, and I'm a lifelong animal lover with 20 years of experience caring for both dogs and cats and other small animals such as hens. I grew up in a home filled with animals (from playful dogs and cats to even a few hamsters !) Being around animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I truly enjoy connecting with them, getting to know their personalities, and making sure they feel safe and loved and cared for around me.

As you'll see from my photos, I'm comfortable and experienced with dogs of all sizes, from big breeds to small companions. I love taking dogs for walks, playing with them, and ensuring they’re well-fed, happy, and get any medication they might need. I am blessed to own a 10 year old golden lab called Ruby. I am lucky enough to have my sons at home to care for my animals while I’m away. 

I’m also very fond of cats and I have my own kitty called Leo.

I enjoy the quiet joy of earning the animals trust and affection.

I've had the opportunity to dog-sit and cat-sit and hen sit in different parts of Europe, the United States, and of course home here in Ireland, which has helped me adapt to different pet routines and household preferences. Whether your pet is full of energy or enjoys a more relaxed pace, I tailor my care to meet their individual needs. I can offer special care to needy and anxious dogs who need that extra bit of minding. No problem with giving meds.
