Hi there, I am a Zoologist who has devoted my life to working with animals all over the world. I have always felt a house is not a home unless there is at least one beloved pet in it. I grew up with cats but always walked neighbours and friends dogs whenever I got the chance.
I lived in New Zealand for a decade where I had 3 cats and 3 chickens. When I had free time I would take my friends dog to the beach for a walk and swim with me. I spent many nights pet sitting for her dog while they were away on breaks. I have also looked after friends axolotls, rats and frogs. I have become a trusted dog and cat sitter over the years for numerous friends and family. I recently registered with DAWG to do some relief work for their animal adoption people when they need a break. I worked also in conservation of penguins and sea lions in New Zealand.
In Canada I worked as a whale warden in Vancouver Island, working with endangered orcas. I live in Kinsale in a 3 bedroom house. We have a medium size enclosed back garden.
I live with my boyfriend and would love to have more contact with animals. I am self employed as a tour guide so have a fair bit of flexibility with my working hours.
For dog owners, I go to the beach a lot so would be able to bring dogs with me if you wanted too in my car.

It was our first time leaving our little FelV rescue cat for a weekend, so it was so important to us to find someone kind, reliable, conscientious and trustworthy. Suzanne is all of those things, she is a real animal lover. We were updated throughout the weekend with videos and pics, which was so reassuring. Lucky loved Suzanne, that is a huge compliment as she is very weary of people generally and she took to her right away. It was fantastic to see Lucky so happy and relaxed in the pics and videos, it really put our mind at ease. I wouldn’t hesitate to rebook again ☺️
Suzanne is an excellent sitter. She looked after our cat "Billy" while we were away. She is conscientious and kind and kept in touch while we were abroad. I would highly recommend Suzanne to look after your cat, and I would certainly ask her to look after Billy again.
